Costco Visa Approval

I applied for the Costco Visa several times over the past few years but was consistently denied. I haven’t applied for any credit since March when i was approved for the Smartly card pre nerf.

 

Today, I noticed on the Credit Karma app that the Costco Visa’s approval odds changed from "fair" to "good." I got a little trigger happy as this was the first time i've seen it say good, so I cold apped. I was instantly approved for a $5,000 credit limit. They pulled my Experian report (I’m in Illinois). My FICO 8 score on Experian’s website was 695, with 0 inquiries in the past 12 months. Also i'm currently LOL/12 for new accounts.
